Im Dezember 2002 gründeten das Welternährungsprogramm der Vereinten Nationen und TNT eine wegweisende Partnerschaft, deren gemeinsame Zielsetzung es war, den Hunger in der Welt zu bekämpfen. Die Partnerschaft erhielt den Namen Moving the World.

Seit fünf Jahren machen die Mitglieder des Moving the World Teams die Partnerschaft zwischen TNT und dem WFP zu einem Erfolg. Gemeinsam mit den Mitarbeitern von TNT setzt sich das Team dafür ein, die Armut in der Welt zu bekämpfen.

    The origins of our partnership with the WFP are now legendary within TNT. While on a flight to Sydney, Australia, in November 2001, our CEO Peter Bakker was reading an article that quoted a horrifying statistic: every five seconds somewhere in this world a child dies from hunger. more
