TNT Express greens Dutch and Belgian fleets

175 environmental friendly Mercedes Sprinter vans will replace the entire fleet of delivery vans at TNT's Dutch express business and half of the delivery vans at its Belgian operations, Logistiek reported. 'TNT Express initially considered choosing for natural gas-powered or electric delivery vans, however decided in favour of the Mercedes Benz Sprinter with clean Euro 5 EEV diesel motors. A special board computer provides the driver with direct information about his way of driving and the impact on fuel consumption and the environment.
