Walk the World Kennemerduinen

Walk the World

This morning, an enthusiastic group of colleagues from TNT Centre, together with family and friends, have participated in a small Walk through the beautiful Kennemerduinen National Park in the Netherlands.

The rain could not get us down. Armed with Orange umbrellas and TNT coats we started the Walk in the rain. Even our youngest participant, only one year old, faced up to the rain! Luckily all the bright orange colors and the enthusiasm of the participants stopped (most of the) rain as soon as we started walking. Together we have enjoyed a nice 5km walk with beautiful views and wildlife!

With this Walk, we have raised money for the WFP, raised awareness for world hunger and supported all our colleagues worldwide who organise a Walking event today!

Thanks Sacha, Elenita et all, For organising this last minute event. Jelle and I enjoyed the walk and we are sure that our little contribution will allow a few kids tomorrow to go to school without feeling hungry.

Thanks for organizing Walk the World! I am happy I got the chance to participate.

Although a bit rainy and rather low tempertures, the scenery was fantastic. A great "get together" and a great walk for the good cause. Thanks for the organisation.
