June 3rd. 33 cities. 4200 participants. A great day of fun and fulfillment with our families and colleagues…it’s the tenth Walk the World in TNT Greater China (mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan).

From the first walk on the Great Wall in 2003, to the tenth walk in 33 cities in Greater China this year, we are proud to see the annual event has grown to an influential phenomenon achieving a record amount of participants and cities. We are even happier to see our efforts make a difference in the community: the money raised this year by Greater China can support WFP to provide 100,000 school meals.

During this year’s event, staff family-day activities were held in addition to the walk, making the event truly exciting for the walkers and their families. Hundreds of children participated in this year’s walk, enthusiastic to help their peers in need of help. After the walk, parents and children played games together, such as riding bicycles, flying kites, watching clown shows and having picnics or barbecues. It was a very splendid and meaningful day enjoyed thoroughly by all who attended.
