Before proceeding I must mentioned that we are going fine and completing our first stage of project of construction of Wood saving stove in the 13 schools, educating village community and women to use the domestics stove and create awareness among them to save the nature. We are successful to take the reactions, problems, suggestions of the school students and teachers about the School Feeding Programme run by WFP.

We reached at Dodoma on 26th Mar 2008 evening after 6 hours long journey by car, we are already 2 days back from our work plan due to miscommunication between the WFP offices.

As per the schedule, on the next day morning 0800am, we have to reach at WFP, Dodoma for briefing. But we reached late at WFP office, around 0900am due to long queue in Money exchange bureau.

After a busy schedule, we got a chance to go the restaurant for launch on 1500 hrs afternoon with Mr. Stain (Programme Assistant - WFP) & Mr. Gerald (HAPA-our Project Partner) at Singida. I & my buddy Chris is very hungry as we have only Tea and 2 slice of bread in our breakfast. We ordered our lunch Ugali & Kuku (rice & chicken) and waiting for the food to come.

Our first step of the project (construction of Rain water Harvesting Tank) is to create awareness amongst the people of the community in school label. The main aim of ours is to give them proper idea, knowledge about the project, what the project is? How is it benefits to the school & community?

STARTING THE JOURNEY

I started my journey on 3rd March 2008, with the lots of emotion from the family members & good wishes from the colleagues, seniors in TNT-India for my success in project. As it's my first journey abroad, I am very much excited. When I reached at Rome airport, I found that my luggage is missed by the Swiss airlines, which makes me very upset and to wait for 6 hours at Rome airport.

After tired journey from Rome, I landed on Dar es Salaam on 1000hrs on 09-03-08, and found Chris (my buddy) is waiting for me from last 3 hours to welcome me. It gives me immense pleasure.
