I and Helene are leaving from Banjul to are going to Bansang the our destination of the mission: for a while the road is paved, then it becames a dirt clay-colored road. There is a special landscape, with palm-trees and a different kind of plants. Somewhere vegetation doesn't exist. We can see small villages made of land and straw.

It's a beautiful experience that I'm living in Gambia. I will be able to remember it with pleasure and melancholy.

I'm sure of that when I will come back in Italy I will not feel well because I will miss the children's smile and people's simplicity. I have known a lot of children, they live in their houses in the same place where I live with Helene.
