  • TNT sends 700 backpacks to school children in Bhutan

    Several years ago TNT Denmark purchased a large amount of Walk the World backpacks to hand out during the Danish Walk the World events. However, the backpacks were never distributed and merely took up space in the warehouse. Therefore, TNT Denmark decided to send all the backpacks to Bhutan, as they knew that they would do more good there. After a long journey 700 backpacks reached Bhutan in the end of September. más>>

    In one of our visit to El Cielo, one of the three schools where we are working, I met a child, and the truth is that it is impossible not to fall in love with every one of the children at these schools. His name is Inder, he is five years old and in first grade, even though for his age he should be in Kindergarten. He lives with his grandmother, aunts, and uncles because his mother left him with his grandmother when he was a baby.
